an Overview of the Carony Advantages and Accessories Click Here |
Carony
is a unique, manageable transport wheelchair system that eliminates
lifting people and simplifies transferring into and out of
private vehicles.
With assistance from Carony, you can independently move your
passenger without straining your arms or back!
The Carony
system consists of a wheelchair frame, a comfortable seat
that you use both in and outside of the vehicle and a mounted
swivel seat base.
With a couple of effortless manoeuvres, you are able to position
the chair and passenger to the front passenger space. The
wheelchair frame can then be stored in the trunk as it takes
up minimal space. |

|
Once
in place the passenger will use the original seat belt. The
chair has been especially designed, crash tested and approved,
meeting all valid legislation.
Security and comfort is equal or better to the original seat
and practical, optional accessories make the chair flexible
to suit to any special needs or demands. |
|
Carony
also has the flexibility to load when the passenger chooses
to travel by public transport. Carony will fit most cars
both two or four doors.
Approved Autoadapt-BEV dealers will have fully trained
personal with responsibility for function, security and
installation of the Carony Transport Wheelchair System. |
|
|
| Carony
is so simple to drive and manoeuvre, especially
in small areas. The ergonomic shaping gives an
excellent driving position. |
|
|
| The
chair is easy to transport from both inside and
out of the car; you start by turning the swivel
seat out. |
|
|
| Remove
the drive grip and footrest and dock the chair
to the swivel seat in the car. |
|
|
|
| Release
the safety stop on the wheelchair frame and push
the chair into the car. Unload the wheelchair
frame from the swivel seat in the car.
|
|
|
| Turn
the chair into position, be sure that the turn
stop locks and fasten the seat belt. The transfer
is now complete! |
|
|
| Store
the wheelchair in the trunk and make sure it is
well anchored. |
